Generally acting on the instructions of an insurance company, McLarens Young International branches will take instructions from an insurer to make an inspection of damage, investigate and report the cause and make recommendations regarding how best to reinstate the damage or settle the claim. In most typical cases the settlement of the claim is ultimately determined by the contract of insurance (the insurance policy) between the insurer and insured parties. We also manage reinstatement projects for self-insured organisations.

Once an insurance claim has been accepted by an insurer, McLarens Young International will generally receive instructions to manage the settlement, acting as Insurance Claim Project Managers. This may involve managing the repair project or negotiating the appropriate payments.

Insurance can exist to protect a range of insurable interests and claims can be made for losses ranging from property damage, through consequential losses such as business profit, to an insured party's legal liability. McLarens Young International have specialists able to respond to any type of loss. Acting independantly, we will ensure that the most economic settlement is achieved.
